Dr Philip Norrie PhD – Australian doctor Dr Philip Norrie PhD is the Inventor of R.E.W Production Technique and the owner of the global patent of R.E.W. He is also the founder and chairman of Australia Red Wine Association, the Australian representative for “Alcohol in Moderation” Editor Committee, as well as members of Australia Medical Association and South Wales Red Wine Journalists’ Club. He has been engaged in the research of wine and health since 1986 and has written 17 famous books on wines. The new one called “The History of Wine as Medicine” is finished in 2009 and describes wine as medicine. His R.E.W was global patented in 2008 and is now widely sold in Australia, Europe, etc.

Resveratrol

As is known to everyone, wine is good for health. But few knows why. In fact, it is mainly because of the function of resveratrol. Common wines only contain 3 – 5 mg / 750 ml resveratrol while R.E.W contains as much as 25 – 200 mg of resveratrol / 750 ml.

Resveratrol is a non-alcoholic compound, which richly exists in grape skins. It is a kind of antitoxin in plants, as well as a kind of natural antibiotic in plants.
